Ben is the principle consultant at Hopper Associated. He teaches, coaches and mentors many kinds of entrepreneurs. Start-ups have become his specialty as he has extensive experience writing and critiquing business plans, especially in the areas of sales and marketing. Much of his knowledge and experience comes from a collective 10 years of owning and operating his own franchise, as well as selling and teaching in the training industry.
Ben works with many different kinds of businesses, and people. Often his clients are sole proprietors working on their own or with a small team. He has experienced many different industries over the years and had a chance to learn and grow along side his clients. Often he’s consulted to help with sales processes, prospecting activities, goal setting and performance evaluations. On the marketing side, Ben also knows a lot about all the major social media platforms and is consulted to develop strategies and execute plans. He’s also well versed in guerrilla marketing and helps his clients market effectively without needing a large advertising budget.
Most of all, Ben really enjoys being there for his clients when they need someone to listen and give real world advice. It’s not easy starting your own business and making it work for you. Often the struggles of entrepreneurs are ones that are more easily overcome when you’ve got a coach to work with. Ben helps get his client through the tough times so that they can refocus on working their plan and seeing results.
Ben is also an avid world traveler and enjoys spending time outdoors: camping; canoeing; hiking; and fishing. He’s a yoga enthusiast and can often be seen biking around Winnipeg.
